He stands against the terrorism that slaughtered innocent Israelis and took others hostage and against an indiscriminate military response that slaughters innocent Palestinians.
I say this as a Jew: Joe's continuing the "US supports Israel no matter what" is a version of "My mother, drunk or sober." The Israeli response, well, Bibi's actually, was/is so disproportionate as to have turned the world and its legal bodies against us. Bibi now has an arrest warrant. Of course it was hideous to attack sleeping kibbutzniks and snatch people from a music festival, but the response was so vile (hospitals, children's sanctuaries, schools, villages) that now most countries have turned against Israel. I'm pretty sure we lost the election because Harris would not deviate from Joe's continuing, tradition support for Israel. Most people want it to stop -- including Jews. Continuing sending weapons when the score had been settled ws to turn the world against us -- and also to make it hot for Jews everywhere.
Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) calls on Biden to do two simple things: "Stop sending the Israeli military more weapons. Facilitate an immediate ceasefire." His refusal to do these two things has earned him lots of criticism. Can you address directly why Biden can't or shouldn't do either of these things? I don't see either mentioned in this article.
Furthermore, you say "President Biden has no say in whether or how Israel responds to the attack of October 7th" however Biden successfully pressured Israel to restore communications after they turned them off in Gaza. What leads you to believe they can't pressure them into a ceasefire or to stop bombing refugee camps?
I felt that this writing was extremely helpful to read and it made sense to me. Thank you

You urge people to "lean into the facts," but you claim that Hamas beheaded children. Can you provide any evidence of this?
